Our team recently took on the challenge of redesigning a steep garden path in Karori, Wellington. The garden had been completely hidden under an overgrowth of bushes and dead leaves and needed a thorough tidy-up. Through careful garden design and development, we uncovered a once-invisible pathway and turned it into a stunning feature of the garden.
The Challenge
Initial Condition: The garden path was completely obscured by overgrown bushes and layers of dead leaves.
Objective: To clear the path and create a welcoming, visually appealing entrance to the property through thoughtful planning and execution.
Our Approach
Clearing the Overgrowth: Out tidy-up began by removing the overgrown bushes and de-weeding the area to reveal the hidden path beneath.
Trimming and Pruning: Our team meticulously trimmed back the remaining plants, giving them space to breathe and thrive while ensuring the path’s visibility.
Pathway Installation: We installed a new gravel path using elegant white stones. This added a touch of sophistication and contrast, enhancing the garden's overall design.
The Transformation
The garden path is now almost unrecognisable. The new gravel path with white stones stands out beautifully against the lush greenery, creating a striking visual effect. The entrance to this property in Karori is now open and inviting, showcasing the garden’s natural beauty. This transformation reflects the successful application of our garden design expertise.
